Overview & Context
The client owned a world-wide patent for "self-repairing" lights. He wanted to develop smart lighting solutions which used his patented technology to create innovative products for home and industrial use. Many variants were designed and built, sometimes up to 50 pcs / each for demo, pilot and testing purposes.
Variants
- Simple tubes which self-repair when broken.
- IR controlled tubes for emulating damage on the fly.
- BLE-enabled tubes with smartphone app control.
- ZigBee street lights (300W) with remote monitoring and control.
- WiFi-enabled LED bulbs with remote control and scheduling via smartphone app.
- GSM-enabled stadium/billboard lighting system (750W) with centralized control and monitoring.
- WiFi-enabled individually addressable RGB LEDs for light shows
