Overview
This project was a 480W switched mode power supply designed for driving LEDs. It has a small form factor, planar transformers, isolation and minimized electromagnetic interference (EMI). The PCB is 4-layer 3oz copper board, with all components placed on the top side. It features a PFC stage, and an LLC DC-DC isolated converter. It is capable of driving big LED panels, with powers up to 480W, with high efficiency and power factor correction (PFC) for reduced energy consumption and improved performance. It supports dimming, as well as remote operation with external modules.
